00:00 WisTilt2 rpierce99 lol
00:00 WisTilt2 i see gsensors work now also. looking good so far.
00:39 d3tul3 WisTilt2, i plan on updating the 3.0 tree to 3.0.15, what are the chances of it magically fixing itself
00:40 WisTilt2 worth a try. i really have no idea how to find whats causing this at this point.
03:50 Tandyman100 hmm
03:50 Tandyman100 wasn't there an #htc-wp7 at one point?
14:48 Sleep_Walker hi
14:49 Sleep_Walker anyone working on HTC Desire Z support?
19:31 WisTilt2 d3tul3: made those changes you emailed me about and just pushed so we'll see if that fixes things after it builds.
19:32 d3tul3 WisTilt2, thanks you think that was a reasonable thing to do?
19:32 WisTilt2 yes. it looks like it cleaned up a lot of files that didn't need to be there anyway. i haven't done it to .39 yet until i see what happens on 3.0
19:33 WisTilt2 was already using the 3.1 .gitignore btw when you upgraded to 3.0.10 so hopefully this other cleaning fixes things
19:37 mgross029 WisTilt2, Ran the .39 kernel for a while. Noticed lots of battery fluctuations. It still seemed to drain pretty rapidly on my Rhod500
19:41 WisTilt2 mgross029: are you running scbs?
19:43 mgross029 WisTilt2, Not sure. Don't believe I am if it isn't built in I know I haven't loaded it.
19:44 WisTilt2 you should be seeing somewhere around 1% hr unless you have stuff like gps wifi etc going all the time.
19:45 WisTilt2 on this 400 i have for testing im seeing around 1.5%hr, on the 300's .58% pretty consistent and around 1% with scbs running.
19:45 mgross029 Well it was at 100% and I watched the battery meter drop to about 78% in just over an hour.
19:45 WisTilt2 let it run way longer
19:46 WisTilt2 the battery meter is so inaccurate until its under 80% or so from what ive seen. once you get in the mid 70's it should give you a better idea
19:48 mgross029 Ok. I did run it for a bit yesterday and had about 60% battery. It drained to Red then popped back up to Yellow and then it when back to about 50% Green. That was when I sent you the pm yesterday. :)
19:48 WisTilt2 d3tul3: we got a clean build i believe:) im not going to copy and boot it but i checked the Image file and dirty is no longer there. maybe you or rpierce99 can give it test to be sure but im sure its clean now
19:49 d3tul3 great, i'll definitely give it a try as soon as i wrap up something over here
19:50 mgross029 I'll run it a full charge when I get a chance
19:50 WisTilt2 mgross029 you might try running scbs and see. that will make the meter extremely accurate. i think i built scbs into that test kernel you're trying, you just need the rootfs to make it run.
19:51 mgross029 WisTilt2, you have the rootfs? :)
19:51 WisTilt2 yeah standby and ill upload it on the same private url
19:51 mgross029 Ok. Thank you Sir
19:54 WisTilt2 when you boot it up after it settles down, check the root of your sdcard and make sure you see a file called scbs.log that is incrementing in size. then you'll know its running. you will have to make a battery model after it takes readings for a day or so so it will report your battery accurately. i can get you the APK for than also
19:55 mgross029 Cool. Thanks
20:02 WisTilt2 d3tul3: just did housekeeping on .39 so we'll see if we broke anything after it builds.
20:05 d3tul3 WisTilt2, 3.0 is clean indeed
20:06 WisTilt2 thank god
20:08 WisTilt2 .39 built clean after the same cleaning so i think we're good now. back to constructive work now lol
21:30 WisTilt2 d3tul3, is 3.0 and 3.1 pretty much the same other than 3.0 having BT? also I assume this newest GB has all the new libs that fixes the pmem check thing etc?
23:03 Sleep_Walker anyone working on HTC Desire Z support?
